True acceptance is not negotiating a deal. The pain will exist AND you can live with the pain.
One of our favorite reasons for providing teletherapy is to help people dealing with Chronic pain.
Here’s why:
-When you suffer from Chronic Pain or Chronic Illness, we know it can be a struggle to be in and out of Dr.’s appointments and have to sit in chairs which hurt your body even more.
-When you go to an office for therapy it can be hard to get through an hour without laying down or putting an hour of “showing” you are okay and in less pain than you actually might be, just for the therapist or people in the waiting room.
-With teletherapy you can be in your own home, and everyone in the group will understand if your camera is off for a few minutes, if you are laying in your bed for therapy, or if you can only do half an hour that week.
